THE PRACTICE OF YOGA
Like many people, I first came to yoga as a physical practice, and quickly learned the many ways that yoga can change lives. Yoga is much more than physical postures. It’s great for both strengthening and stretching the body, but it is the strengthening and stretching of mind, body and breath through Asanas, Meditation and Pranayama, that gives yoga healing properties. Let’s explore what yoga has to offer you. Book a private session via Zoom, FaceTime or Skype. Take a live virtual class. See below for online videos on my YouTube channel.

therapeutic Yoga
Medical research shows that yoga is one of the most effective ways to address chronic pain (including arthritis and fibromyalgia), injury recovery (back injuries, recovery from joint surgery), and stress, while boosting energy and fostering a sense of well-being.
Private yoga sessions can also help improve your yoga practice as you learn more about your body and how you move, identifying areas in need of strengthening or stretching, and better body mechanics, on and off your yoga mat. This applies to all levels of yoga. Services include:
- Yoga practice assessment with recommendations for poses to work with at home
- I lead you through a yoga session with hands-on corrections and/or verbal cues
- I lead you through a yoga session with therapeutic benefits
- Breathing meditation
- Yoga for stress reduction
