Yoga is great for strengthening and stretching your body, but it is the strengthening and stretching of mind, body and breath that gives yoga healing properties.
In this free workshop, we’ll talk about what makes something “yoga” and the many benefits of the practice. I’ll demonstrate some poses, talk about meditation, and answer questions about what happens in a yoga class. No experience necessary! Cancer Support Community of Atlanta offers different kinds of yoga and meditation classes, both in person and on Zoom. Let’s explore what yoga has to offer you.
