SHABBAT MINDFUL YOGA SERIES
Meet me at the intersection of Jewish spirituality and yoga. This fun and accessible practice will bring you joy, along with flexibility and strength, and some new perspectives on both disciplines. We will breathe, chant, move and learn together. It’s powerful to practice in community.
This all-levels class is appropriate for beginners and anyone looking for a mindfully-paced class. Please bring a pillow, and yoga mat or towel. If you have other props, including blocks, please bring what you’d like to use. They are optional. Dress comfortably. Classes are taught by Certified Yoga Therapist and Congregant Rebecca Leary Safon c-IAYT RYT500.
Class will be held outdoors, on our patio or backyard hillside, or inside our sanctuary with current COVID protocols in place, depending upon the weather. Due to limited capacity, registration required.
There are risks associated with the practice of yoga and meditation. Please consult your caregivers before beginning a yoga practice, and for any concerns you may have.
