For over 20 years, Rebecca Leary has worked to create sacred space to explore mind, body & breath in community, with nurturing and support.
As a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), I offer Therapeutic Yoga + Meditation specializing in Oncology Yoga for Cancer, Meditation, Gentle Yoga, and Yoga + Meditation through a Jewish lens. My classes are available virtually, on my YouTube channel, and in studios, schools and centers around the Atlanta metro area. Through Mother-to-Mother, I offer yoga for women throughout their lifecycles, including prenatal and postpartum, pelvic floor training, yoga for seniors, and chair yoga.
In private practice, I work with individuals seeking balance in mind, body & breath, through yoga, yoga therapy, meditation, and bodywork.
I am an E-RYT200, RYT500 Yoga Teacher, c-IAYT Yoga Therapist, YACEP, a licensed NMT, and a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (CMLDT). I offer deepest gratitude to my teachers Yoganand, Marlysa Sullivan, Tra Kirkpatrick, Holle Black, Tari Prinster, Leslie Howard, Carol Krucoff and Kimberly Carson, and Meryl Arnett. I honor the lineage of Swami Kripalu and Lakulisha.
Before beginning my work in yoga therapy, I was a dance and theater producer in New York City and Atlanta. I raised two strong, smart and creative daughters in Atlanta with my husband, two cats, and a Great Dane named Leon.
I am fully-vaccinated! See you on the mat!
*Jai Bhagwan!
